Volleyball Recap: Barron Comes Up Short

Barron lost against River Falls back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Golden Bears fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alexis Halverson paced Barron's offense, picking up ten kills. Halverson got some help from Lillian Harmon and her 15 assists.

Barron's loss dropped their record down to 28-5. As for River Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

Barron has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cameron on the 14th. As for River Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Eau Claire North on the 13th.
