Basketball Game Preview: Plentywood Wildcats vs. Savage Warriors

The Plentywood Wildcats will challenge the Savage Warriors on Friday. Plentywood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Savage likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Plentywood was fully in charge, breezing past MonDak [Westby/Grenora] 67-20. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Mon-Dak Thunder recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Savage came up short against Culbertson on Friday and fell 50-40.

Plentywood's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Savage, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for Plentywood against Savage in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 74-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plentywood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
