Softball Recap: Abington Heights Comets vs. Deposit-Hancock
After only one run in their last contest, Abington Heights made sure to put some runs up on the board against Deposit-Hancock on Saturday. The Comets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over Deposit-Hancock.
Adrianna Condrad spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on nine hits.
At the plate, Cecelia O'Malley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Isabelle Wilmot was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Abington Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
