Volleyball Recap: Grand Junction Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grand Junction Central lost against University back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 22-25, 25-9.

Tallin McCormick paced Grand Junction Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. McCormick got some help from Kaysen Reynolds and her 17 assists. Jasmine Rushing controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

University was led to victory by Madison Nation and Charlie Sherman. Nation had 13 digs and six aces, while Sherman had four aces and three digs. Those six aces gave Nation a new career-high.

Grand Junction Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Grand Junction Central will take on Grand Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University, they will face off against Resurrection Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
