Jefferson's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-17.

Everything came up roses for Jefferson against Chapel Hill in their previous matchup on January 14th, as the squad secured a 60-29 victory.
