Denmark waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Menasha Bluejays. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Denmark not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Menasha to exactly 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16.

Riley Mleziva paced Denmark's offense, picking up seven kills. Mleziva got some help from Maddie Malfroid and her 12 assists. Malfroid also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Eliana Mejia, racking up two apiece.

Denmark's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Menasha, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Denmark has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Amherst on the 13th. As for Menasha, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Calumet on the 13th.
