Volleyball Preview: Coppell Cowboys vs. Braswell Bengals

Coppell is 3-0 against Braswell since September of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Coppell finally turned things around against Little Elm on Tuesday. They blew past the Lobos 3-0.

Meanwhile, Braswell earned a 3-1 win over Marcus on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bengals.

Braswell walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 19-25, 25-14.

Jayla McDuffie and Areli Castillo were among the main playmakers for Braswell as the former had 27 digs and the latter had seven digs and four aces. McDuffie is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Braswell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marcus only served six.

Coppell now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Braswell, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-20.
