Andre Davis was a major factor in Garden City's win over Thurston on Wednesday. Davis scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Davis and Garden City will host Stevenson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars haven't beaten the Spartans recently, having gone 0-7 since March of 2015.
