Basketball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Takes a Loss

Nipmuc Regional lost against Douglas on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors took a 35-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Douglas Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nipmuc Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Douglas, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Nipmuc Regional will challenge Hopedale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopedale will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Nipmuc Regional surely won't give up without a fight. As for Douglas, they will square off against Whitinsville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Douglas is facing Whitinsville Christian at the right time seeing as Whitinsville Christian is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
