Baseball Recap: Pennington Tigers vs. Brindlee Mountain Lions
Pennington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Brindlee Mountain Lions with a sharp 22-3 win on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since April 1, 2024.
Connor Timmerman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
