Baseball Recap: Miami Springs Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Miami Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Tocoi Creek Toros on Wednesday.

Kelven Perera was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in doubles. Jordany Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Miami Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tocoi Creek struck out eight times.
