North Iredell has gone a perfect 10-0 against Statesville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. North Iredell's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Statesville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

North Iredell blew East Lincoln out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday East Lincoln got their revenge. The Raiders fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Statesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to St. Stephens.

North Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Statesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

North Iredell took their victory against Statesville in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 21-1 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
