Matthew Castillo Game Report: vs West Mesa

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Matthew Castillo stepped things up a notch to give Los Lunas the 'W'. Castillo scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The effort marked the most stolen bases he has had since back in May of 2024.

Castillo and Los Lunas will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Rio Grande, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. The Tigers have been dominating at home and they will enter the contest having won nine straight home games dating back to last season.
