Softball Game Preview: Sprague Olympians vs. Wilsonville Wildcats

The Sprague Olympians are taking a road trip to face off against the Wilsonville Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sprague comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Friday, Sprague didn't have quite enough to beat Century and fell 5-3.

Sprague saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Bakke, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Bakke scored this season.

Meanwhile, Wilsonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Caldera.

Sprague's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wilsonville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Sprague suffered a grim 14-6 defeat to Wilsonville in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can the Olympians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
