Davison is 8-2 against Grand Blanc since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will take on the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after seven games, but that won't be the case come Friday.
Davison's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Carman-Ainsworth, posting a 58-0 victory. That 58 point margin sets a new team best for the Cardinals this season.

Tyanthony Lewis and Jaxson Dosh were among the main playmakers for Davison as the former gained 91 total yards and three touchdowns and the latter threw for 111 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Lewis has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Another reason for the win was Davison's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Ayden Seybert was especially locked on to Carman-Ainsworth's QB and sacked him twice. Davison received some extra help from Willie McQueen, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Davison, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cortez Porter, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Grand Blanc against Saginaw United on Friday as the team secured a 50-6 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bobcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Saginaw United are ranked 255th).
Davison better keep an eye on Jake Morrow. He was instrumental in Grand Blanc's win, throwing for 223 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns Morrow has posted since back in October of 2024. Micah Kemp was another key player, picking up 117 receiving yards and three TDs.
Grand Blanc was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.
Davison's record is now 7-0. As for Grand Blanc, their record now sits at an identical 7-0.
Friday's game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Dosh and Morrow. Dosh just won't slow down this season and has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 130.3 passing yards per game. Morrow has been a dominant force too and has thrown 21 touchdowns while averaging 183.6 passing yards per game.
Davison came up short against Grand Blanc in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 55-49. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Morrow, who threw for 404 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 101 yards and one score. Now that the Cardinals know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
