It was a good run, but Crescent City unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Menendez Falcons by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Katie Hart paced Crescent City's offense, picking up seven kills. Hart got some help from Reagan Chayer and her nine assists. Logan Bornstein controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Olivia Kisser was a one-woman wrecking crew For Menendez. as she had 14 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Kisser has posted since back in August of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Catherine Guernon, who had eight digs and one assist.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Menendez, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Crescent City is taking a road trip to face off against Hawthorne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Menendez, they will be playing at home against Nease at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
