Basketball Recap: Alvarado Comes Up Short

Alvarado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Kennedale Wildcats, falling 102-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Alvarado's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Kennedale, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

Alvarado will face off against Ferris at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferris has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-2 during that stretch of close contests. As for Kennedale, they will challenge Life Waxahachie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Life Waxahachie has won eight straight at home, while Kennedale won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
