Recap: Geneva Knights vs. Orangewood Christian Rams
The Geneva Knights pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Orangewood Christian on the road and fell 93-59. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (55), Geneva still had to take the loss.
Leading Orangewood Christian to victory were Ben Barber and Ethan Toadvine. Barber scored 17 points, while Toadvine scored 19 points. Roby McClarnon was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Orangewood Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Geneva will look to defend their home court on Monday against First Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Orangewood Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
