Soccer Recap: Mendenhall Comes Up Short

Mendenhall lost against Wesson last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Cobras, falling 3-0. One reason for the loss might be Mendenhall's aggressive play style: Morgan Adams and Maddie Brewer were both handed yellow cards.

Mendenhall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wesson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Mendenhall will venture away from home to take on Forrest County Agricultural at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mendenhall are facing Forrest County Agricultural at the right time seeing as Forrest County Agricultural are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wesson, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Bogue Chitto at 5:30 p.m.
