Softball Game Preview: North Hardin Trojans vs. Green County Dragons

North Hardin is 1-8 against Green County since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Trojans will face off against the Dragons at 5:00 p.m.

North Hardin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Elizabethtown, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday.

Green County came out on top against Glasgow on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Dragons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Scotties a 10-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

North Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Green County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Everything went North Hardin's way against Green County in their previous meeting back in March, as North Hardin made off with a 9-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
