Preview: Georgetown G-Men vs. Tri-Village Patriots
The Georgetown G-Men will head out on the road to face off against the Tri-Village Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Georgetown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while Tri-Village is ranked 241st).
Last Tuesday, Georgetown came up short against Madeira and fell 48-38.
Meanwhile, Tri-Village put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Arcanum for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-43 win at home. Fans of Tri-Village have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Georgetown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Tri-Village, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.
Georgetown suffered a grim 88-67 defeat to Tri-Village when the teams last played back in March of 2015. Can Georgetown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
