Volleyball Recap: Twin River Takes a Loss

Twin River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Twin River was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20.

Tricia Kunkee paced Twin River's offense, picking up nine kills. Kunkee got some help from Callie Held and her 15 assists.

Twin River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Riverside, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Twin River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Osceola on the 4th. As for Riverside, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Fullerton on the 4th.
