Softball Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View lost to Edgewood back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans fell 6-1 to the Cougars.

Valley View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kara Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Valley View's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Edgewood, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.

Looking ahead, Valley View will challenge Versailles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Edgewood, they will welcome Stebbins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
