Basketball Recap: Panguitch Takes a Loss

Panguitch suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Beaver Beavers, falling 66-30. The Bobcats have struggled against the Beavers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Panguitch lost, don't look at Mallory Henrie. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points and eight boards. Henrie has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played.

Panguitch's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Beaver, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Panguitch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-71 loss against Wayne on the 28th. Beaver has also already played their next contest, a 38-25 defeat against Kanab on the 28th.
