Basketball Game Preview: Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans vs. Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks

Hunter-Kinard-Tyler and Blackville-Hilda are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans will host the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will be strutting in after a victory while Blackville-Hilda will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler against Ridge Spring-Monetta as the team secured a 62-33 win. That looming 62-33 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler yet this season.

Meanwhile, Blackville-Hilda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-46 heartbreaker at the hands of Williston-Elko.

Blackville-Hilda's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
