The Central Christian Academy Chargers were the 33-14 winner over the Mooresville Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Central Christian Academy fell just short of Mooresville Christian by a score of 41-38. Central Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cassidy Wright was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 17 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Hayden, who scored six points along with six rebounds.

Central Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.5 points per game. As for Mooresville Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-10.

Central Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mooresville Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Christel House at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
