River Valley is a perfect 10-0 against Chino Valley since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Dust Devils will look to defend their home field against the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. River Valley knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Chino Valley likes a good challenge.

River Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Highland Prep get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Dust Devils have won ten contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sophia Reyes made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February.

In other batting news, River Valley let Bella Navarro and Tamarie Williams run wild. Navarro went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Williams went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI Williams has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lovie Phan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Kinsey Murphy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 18 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Murphy was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aden Hubble, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

River Valley is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.
