Basketball Recap: Kittson Central Skates Past Cass Lake-Bena with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, Kittson Central rose to the challenge on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers 78-47. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kittson Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Cass Lake-Bena's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.

Looking ahead, Kittson Central will head out to challenge Fertile-Beltrami at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Fertile-Beltrami is on a 12-game streak of home wins, Kittson Central a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Cass Lake-Bena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
