Provo lost against Timpanogos back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Provo Bulldogs suffered a rough 11-2 defeat at the hands of the Timpanogos Timberwolves.

Provo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tre Eyre, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with an RBI.

On Timpanogos' side, Chase Riggs tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Riggs has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Brighton Tate was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Dylan McWhorter was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Provo dropped their record down to 16-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Timpanogos, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

While Provo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
