Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. East

The Jordan Beetdiggers will take on the East Leopards at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. East took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jordan, who comes in off a win.

Jordan is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Cottonwood on Monday. Jordan's winning goal came courtesy of Billy Ostler.

Meanwhile, East faced Judge Memorial Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Leopards fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. One thing that didn't help East's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Alejandro Preciado-Jaramillo.

East moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Jordan, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
