Softball Recap: Bexley Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Bexley duked it out with Grandview Heights on Monday. The Lions lost 12-4 to the Bobcats. The Lions have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Davaney Prophet was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Bexley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Grandview Heights, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bexley is set to take on their familiar foe Buckeye Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Grandview Heights will square off against rival Bishop Ready at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
