Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Linfield Christian faced off against San Jacinto on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that Linfield Christian let down their fans at home.

Linfield Christian now has a losing record of 1-2-3. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Rancho Cucamonga beat Linfield Christian 2-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
