Basketball Recap: Grant Union Comes Up Short

Grant Union was the 41-37 winner over Prairie City/Burnt River when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Grant Union Prospectors might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 32-22 to Prairie City/Burnt River, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant Union's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Prairie City/Burnt River, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-8 record.

Grant Union is taking a road trip to take on Stanfield at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prairie City/Burnt River, they will host Huntington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
