Softball Game Preview: St. Johns Redwings vs. Eastern Quakers

The St. Johns Redwings will square off against the Eastern Quakers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither St. Johns nor Eastern posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Saturday, St. Johns came up short against Greenville and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Eastern came up short against Fowlerville on Monday, falling 16-1. The Quakers have struggled against the Gladiators recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for St. Johns, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went St. Johns' way against Eastern in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as St. Johns made off with a 15-0 victory. Do the Redwings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Quakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
