Volleyball Recap: Davie County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Davie County lost against South Iredell on September 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The War Eagles fell 3-1 to the Vikings. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Davie County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 27-25, 25-17, 25-11.

Carly Crouch paced Davie County's offense, picking up 16 kills. Crouch got some help from Isabelle Branham and her 33 assists. Mia Clemo controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Davie County's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for South Iredell, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9.

Davie County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Statesville on the 2nd. As for South Iredell, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Lake Norman on the 2nd.
