Basketball Recap: South Tama County Comes Up Short

South Tama County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Mustangs are ranked 67th).

South Tama County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Prairie City-Monroe, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

South Tama County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will take on Albia on Wednesday.
