After a string of four wins, Christian Brothers's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Davis Sr. Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Simone Huarte paced Christian Brothers' offense, picking up 17 kills. Huarte got some help from Paolo Trujillo and her 11 assists. Isabella Alvarez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Davis Sr., the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Christian Brothers didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Woodcreek on the 6th. As for Davis Sr., they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Twelve Bridges on the 6th.
