Crestwood had won five straight road games and Zach Koons did his part to make it six on Wednesday. The Comets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans with plenty of help from Koons, who had 34 assists and six digs. Koons is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.
The final score came out to 25-22, 12-25, 25-16, 25-21.
Crestwood's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Coincidentally, Crestwood and Greater Nanticoke Area will both be playing Valley View the next time they take the court. The Comets will head out to face the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
