Baseball Game Preview: South Charleston Black Eagles vs. Roane County Raiders

The South Charleston Black Eagles will challenge the Roane County Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Charleston is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between South Charleston and Parkersburg, and Parkersburg kept the tradition alive. The Black Eagles fell just short of the Big Reds by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

South Charleston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Hackman, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Roane County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Buffalo by a score of 4-3.

C KINDER was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

South Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Roane County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything went South Charleston's way against Roane County in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as South Charleston made off with a 10-3 win. Do the Black Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
