Central had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They blew past the Chaparral Firebirds 80-56. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Firebirds are ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for Chaparral, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
