Soccer Recap: DASH Takes a Loss

DASH was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Southwest Wake Wolves. While losing is never fun, DASH can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 357th, while Southwest Wake are ranked 159th).

DASH's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Southwest Wake, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Looking ahead, DASH will take on Coastal Brigade at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. DASH will need to watch out since Coastal Brigade has now posted at least four goals in their last four contests. As for Southwest Wake, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Southeastern HomeSchool on the 10th.
