Baseball Recap: Pine Comes Up Short

Pine lost against Sumner last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pine fell 8-5 to Sumner. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Sumner, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Pine will take on Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine is facing Springfield at the right time seeing as Springfield is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sumner, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Zachary on the 22nd.
