Soccer Game Preview: Corydon Central vs. Madison

The Corydon Central Panthers will face off against the Madison Cubs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Corydon Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Charlestown. Corydon Central haven't had any issues with Charlestown recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Madison kept a clean sheet against North Harrison on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for Madison, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Corydon Central now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2-1.

Corydon Central suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Madison in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
