Baseball Recap: Albuquerque Comes Up Short

Albuquerque lost to Los Lunas on April 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Albuquerque saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Grange, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Albuquerque's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Los Lunas, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albuquerque will square off against Atrisco Heritage Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Lunas, they will take on Eldorado at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
