Seneca had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Roanoke-Benson Rockets. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

Seneca never let Roanoke-Benson on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-15.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roanoke-Benson, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Seneca will challenge Wilmington at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Roanoke-Benson, they will square off against St. Bede on Saturday.
