Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 31-9 to the East Valley Knights. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 30-7 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rogers will challenge rival Pullman at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe West Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
