Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newman International Academy). They blew past the UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES 64-40 on Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Newman International Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arianna Miranda, who went 17 of 25 en route to 34 points along with six assists and five boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Miranda has scored at least a third of Newman International Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Brook, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Newman International Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for UME Preparatory Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
