Softball Recap: Greenhill Takes a Loss

Greenhill lost against Prince of Peace back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greenhill Hornets fell 8-5 to the Prince of Peace Eagles. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Fisher was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Talia Sidikaro, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Greenhill now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prince of Peace, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Greenhill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on UME Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Prince of Peace also won't see the field for a while: their next matchup is against Prestonwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th.
