            Softball Recap: Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish vs. Allegan Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Hackett Catholic Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let the Allegan Tigers get on the board and left with  a   12-0  win. The Fighting Irish have beaten the Tigers the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.
 Ellie Kling made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Kling was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with two  runs and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Alexa Rosell was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Avery Doerr, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Hackett Catholic Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against Allegan: the pair will be back at it again later today.
