Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I. Takes a Loss

The Catholic - N.I. Panthers came up short against the Byrd Yellow Jackets on Saturday and fell 2-0.

MacKenzie Batiste paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up seven kills. Batiste also shared the team's lead in assists with Renee Frederick: they picked up seven each.

Catholic - N.I. now has a losing record of 1-2.

Catholic - N.I. has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Benton on the 6th. As for Byrd, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Walker on the 6th.
